The price of laser hair removal depends on several factors such as (1) body area to be treated, (2) size of the treatment area, (3) number of treatments deemed necessary, (4) type of laser used, and (5) reputation or experience of the physician performing the treatment. The locality of the doctor's practice (urban, suburban or rural) and the marketing method (whether the target market is up-market etc) also influence the pricing. Thus, the best approach is to go for a consultation with the physician to determine the exact cost for your case. Consultation is usually given out FREE of charge. Some centres charge $50 or so for consultant plus a trial session, but if you decide to proceed to full treatment, the $50 you paid earlier is often refunded.

Be reminded that the pricing only serves as a guide, and the best estimate in your particular case is to get a quote from a service provider in your area. But realise that similar to other products, more sessions usually mean cheaper cost per session. For example, if one session cost $60 but the whole treatment requires 6 sessions, you may only need to pay $300. If you are game to treat different parts of your body, then most operators will extend you a multiple area discount. But whatever the cost of laser hair removal is quoted to you, make sure that it covers everything. This is important because some pricing only states the doctor's fee and not other "miscellaneous" fees! If you are not sure, ask. Never assume anything or else you may have to pay through your nose.
